Sun and Moon Helmet 1997
Valentino Rossi had ended in 9th place in his forts 125cc Grand Prix season, but in 1997 he managed to dominate the track taking 11 wins and securing the 125cc World Championship Title. Rossi’s wins in 1997 came at Malaysia, Spain, Italy, France, Holland, Imola, Germany, Brazil, Great Britain, Catalunya, and Indonesia.
In 1997 Rossi mosstly ran with his helmet design from 1996, the Aldo Drudi design Suna and Moon motif. It would be in the later years that Rossi would choose to vary his helmet designs multiple times in a single season.
