Minichamps has announced a 1/8 replica of Valentino Rossi’s helmet which he wore at the Laguna Seca MotoGP in 2005. This diecast helmet replica will be available for sale in 2009 in limited numbers and will become a collectors item. Rossi wore this helmet design in 2005 Laguna Seca MotoGP to celebrate Yamaha’s 50th anniversary. The design was based on the livery that Kenny Roberts used to race with in the 1970s.
