Video: The Making of Valentino Rossi’s Donkey Helmet
Rossi’s ‘Donkey’ helmet at Misano, following his crash at Indianapolis, is now known as one of his more famous helmet designs – but this video shows exactly how it was made. Apparantly Aldo Drudi received a text message from Rossi following the Indianapolis MotoGP asking him to come up with a new helmet design based on the donkey from Shrek – in order for Rossi to poke fun at himself for his error at the Indy GP.
